Happy customers from all sectors
I was involved with Adnitts and Graham towards the end of the New Waverley Project in Edinburgh and had a very positive experience, so it was relatively straightforward when it came to appointing an Acoustician for the Custom House Project.
Thankfully, the overall experience with Adnitts was the same on the Custom House Project.. The Custom House Project had some tricky elements with the underground and two different specs from the hotel operators. Graham was heavily involved from the outset working along the design team and ensuring that the client’s requirements were achieved.
There was also very good communication between Adnitts & MAR when it came to the site visits and carrying out the testing. Dalata also brought their own acoustician onboard and again Graham communicated and answered any queries in a swift fashion.
In terms of the service etc. I would say that I particularly liked the fact that Graham was knowledgeable and flexible in his approach to review the details in line with our particular requirements. This led to a very bespoke design specifically crafted for RPH, which is exactly what we wanted. I also liked the fact that, whilst this exercise took a little bit longer then expected due to the nature of this type of exercises and reviews of supplementary information, Graham was always keen to discuss it in detail. This was very helpful and allowed us to get to the root of the problems and find bespoke resolutions that are particularly suited to RPH. Furthermore, from the commercial perspective the service provided is very thorough and competitive. I hope this helps.
Adnitt Acoustic’s was involved with the project from design stage to onsite testing, their involvement was highly beneficial, they worked with the wider design team and provided important technical information into various design elements e.g. the building façade materials, M&E plant acoustic requirements.
Please see attached CGI’s of the development.Graham was very efficient in responding to our e-mails, providing quote and carrying out the test. There is not much more I can comment on as this was a one off dealing I had.
Adnitt mastered the complex acoustic requirements for this education building which contained a very diverse and not acoustically complementary range of uses.
We received a very good service from Adnitt Acoustics and we would recommend your services moving forward. The report provided was easy to follow and concise. Our client unfortunately would only instruct a desktop report to be undertaken and due to the lack of specialist knowledge, I had various follow up queries which Graham happily answered for me. The only constructive criticism I have is that in some correspondence a less technical response would have been beneficial to ensure we interpreted correctly. Again this is more than likely due to the level of input my client instructed as appose to the service provided. Any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
It was a great and timely service. Thank you. Restaurant work will be complete in 2-3 months time after which I will send you pictures
I was fully satisfied with your excellent service throughout the period and being able to help with short notice. Chris did an excellent job and was helpful at the hearing as well. The great news is that our appeal was successdful and please thank Chris for his excellence and professionalism.
I have been very impressed with the friendly, professional service received throughout… and have recommended Adnitt Acoustics to other Contractors in Orkney to hopefully spread the word about them. I have no doubt that when any of our jobs require this service Adnitt will be at the top of the list.
On behalf of everyone in our church family I would like to thank you very much for all your help and assistance over the past year or so culminating now in the delivery of the new building.
As usual very happy with the service provided by Adnitts, professional and efficient throughout
The greatest compliment that I can express to the acousticians on this project is that this multi-function arts venue worked straight out of the box on Day One. Whilst accepting that there were many contributors to the successful end result, Hunter Acoustic’s and Adnitt Acoustics' care and detailing throughout the design process was a real contributor to the problem-free commissioning of this theatre. During system tuning, a small orchestra and singers tested the room acoustics and the ACS variable acoustics system. This was a pleasurable experience because the engineers were able to concentrate on the optimum setting up of the system without spending time compensating for faults. The dynamic of the sound experience for both the performers on the stage as well as the listeners in the auditorium was evident from the compliments given afterwards.
