Acoustics Consultant & Assistant Acoustics Consultant/Technician

We currently have full time or part-time vacancies for an acoustics consultant and an assistant acoustics consultant/technician interested in building acoustics.

We are an acoustics consultancy with offices in Epsom, Glasgow and Madrid. Our current workload includes schools, entertainment venues, mixed-use developments, hotels and residential projects.

You will be based in our Epsom office with opportunities to collaborate with our Glasgow and Madrid offices.

Acoustics Consultant

The post would suit graduates of acoustically based BSc, MSc, PhD, MEng or BEng courses or the IOA Diploma with two to three years’ experience as an acoustics consultant. Membership of the IOA or other recognised acoustics professional body is preferable. It may be possible to combine the post with study for MSc in Acoustics.

Assistant Acoustics Consultant/Technician

12-month acoustic consultancy paid placement full or part-time flexible opportunity. The post would suit graduates and undergraduates of acoustically based BSc, MSc, PhD, MEng or BEng courses; or a candidate of the IoA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control. It may be possible to combine the post with final year MSc study.

Staff are encouraged to schedule their working hours for family commitments or lifestyle choices. Part time, term time and job share contracts could all be considered as well as conventional full-time posts. In all cases, the hours worked would be self-determined (to meet an agreed minimum quarterly average).

A full UK recognised (preferably clean) driving licence is required.

Provided your written and spoken English is a minimum ‘Vantage’ user (CEFR B2) and preferably ‘Effective Operational Proficiency’ user (CEFR C1), then we welcome applications from international candidates with an existing right of residence and work permit.
