Design and specification services vary widely depending on the quality, scale and type of project, but include:
- Building envelope sound insulation to limit noise intrusion or emissions
- Sound insulation of alternative or natural ventilation schemes
- Internal building fabric sound insulation for privacy, isolation & acoustic quality
- Noise and vibration control of industry and mechanical equipment
- Plantroom, data and energy centre noise & vibration control
- Room acoustic conditions in critical spaces and in normal living, working or learning environments
We are able to implement the requirements of many design standards and guidelines including - Building Regulations Part E, Approved Document E, Robust Details Handbook, Building Bulletin 93 ‘Acoustic Design of Schools’, BS8233 ‘Sound insulation and noise reduction for buildings-Code of practice’, Health Technical Memorandum 08-01: Acoustics [HTM08-01], British Council of Offices Guides.
These are further enhanced by the growing importance of design and construction assessments including BREEAM, Ecohomes, Code for Sustainable Homes, LPA sustainability requirements & considerate contractor schemes.
